Xiangqi Manager

Run small competitions and practice events, from registration to public standings.

A live Chinese chess tournament manager for small competitions and practice events. Chinese and English interfaces support registration imports, tournament groups, pairings, results, and public standings, backed by revision checks and recovery snapshots. Automatic pairing is experimental; full SP98 compatibility is not yet verified.

Hi, I’m KS.
Nice to meet you.

I build software from the interface through to the API and the cloud, and I care most about tools that stay clear under real, everyday use.

I’m Liew Kok Siang, a full stack developer at Raptors Technology, where I work on point-of-sale systems for the food and beverage industry, across web and mobile.

Outside work, I enjoy a game of Xiangqi and time on the badminton court. The room at the top of this page brings those parts of my life together.

    Built full-stack features with a focus on responsive interfaces, shared TypeScript API contracts, and AWS services.

    • Aligned frontend and backend contracts with ts-rest and Zod, reducing integration bugs through end-to-end type safety and schema validation.

Code, chess & court.

Two things that keep me thinking clearly, and occasionally end up as software.

象棋 · At the chess table

One move.
So many possibilities.

Chinese chess is one of the ways I spend my time away from the keyboard. I enjoy the thought that goes into a position: weighing the possibilities, spotting an opening, and deciding when to make a move.

It’s also where my interests meet: I built a platform for a Xiangqi academy, and a tool for running small tournaments.

Time for
another rally.

Badminton gets me out of my chair and into the game. It’s a change of pace from work and chess: less sitting, more moving, and a chance to focus on the next shot.

A racket. A shuttle. A good reason to get moving, and sometimes the best way to recharge.
